Joe the Plumber is a perfect example of being in the right place at the right time.  Have you heard the latest Joe the plumber news?

Joe the plumber is going to Israel as a correspondent for Pajama Media.

Who controls our destiny?

We do, with a little help from above.

Joe had to take action for this fame to shower him.  Had he stayed at home that day, we would know absolutely nothing about him, and he would still be struggling to pay his bills.

BUT…

Joe the plumber was in the right place at the right time.

He simply attended an event of a presidential candidate and then made a comment. Now, he’s going to Israel as a correspondent.

Why Joe?

Well, maybe it’s because Joe wanted to be a participant and not just a spectator.

Maybe it’s because he was worried enough or angry enough to ask a tough question and make his voice heard.

Whatever made Joe make that tiny little trip and attend the event, it is clear that this  one single decision set into motion a flurry of events that would change his life forever and make him famous in a short amount of time.

Naturally, fame brings opportunities – if you’re famous for the right things. Everyone wants to be associated with a person that achieves fame for all the right reasons – such as speaking up for the little guy.

The reason Joe’s rise to fame is so unique and such a good example of what taking action can mean, is because if this were a novel (and then a movie), it would be too surreal to believe. Yet, it’s true.

Let’s be more like Joe this year.

Let’s participate in all of life, and see what’s in store for us.
