Google for Webmasters
Google Tips for Webmasters
Increase Traffic
Is your site optimized with key word content for Google and other search engines?
Often we get so busy providing new and updated content for our sites and blogs that we overlook another vital ingredient…. search engine optimization.
Using Google’s webmaster tools will help increase your page rank, your traffic and search engine rankings.
Google provides these webmaster tools and instructions for optimizing your website – free. That’s right. You can do it yourself.
However, my services are always available.
First, you need a google webmaster account, which is the same as your google email account.
Here’s the link to get started:

Once you’ve started, you just add and verify your site with Google, and you’ll start seeing the data they have for your site.
You can get reports, see errors, and increase traffic to your site.

Not only is Google the most popular search engine, but it’s also the most useful, pertinent, and accurate search engine for finding specific terms and weeding out the nonsense and spam content websites (IMHO).
You can’t BUY a higher ranking with Google, which makes them more trustworthy in my opinion.
| Google sells adwords that appear on the right hand of your search results, but they are not actually “IN” the search results. |
In addition to its unique popularity, Google also offers services that supercede all other engines.
Here are a few …
Google has its own blog search engine – that’s right – you can search blogs for recent content at BlogSearch.Google.com
Search for images and graphics at http://images.google.com/
Interested in TV shows and videos? Try http://video.google.com/
Search for the most recent news topics at http://news.google.com/
Find directions to anywhere from anywhere utilizing their map features at http://maps.google.com/
If you think that’s all, you’re wrong. There are too many specific search tools for me to mention here, but you can see all of their useful search tools and features at http://www.google.com/options/index.html
