Would you like a free Favicon (favorites icon) for your blog or website?

You don’t even have to download it or host it, the good people over at IconJ.com will host it for you.

It’s free for your personal blog or site. If you want to use it on a business site, you pay a one-time fee of only $5.

The favicon shows in the address bar to the left of the url address. If you use Blogger, you’ll see the white “B” on a red background.

All you have to do is choose one or upload an image if you want to make one and IconJ will convert it to a favicon format.

For Bloggers

Once you’ve chosen your new favicon, click on the “html embed code,” then copy the code and login to Blogger and paste the code into the template just before the “/head” tag. Then save the template. Note: The /head will be between the less than and greater than brackets without quotation marks.

For Other Websites

If you host your own site or blog, just edit the home page following the same instructions as above. Then save your file and upload it to the server.
