Anyone can have a great looking blog - Why? Because there are so many talented people creating themes these days, and giving them away - FREE!

I’m working on a few designs myself, but I have found some really wonderful designers and designs already available.

If you need help setting up your new blog theme or customizing it, I’m available. All I ask is a valid link exchange, and a donation if you can… you decide the amount.

Instructions:

Changing your theme is relatively easy if you have ftp access to your blog.

First, you download the theme zip file to your pc, then you unzip it and extract it to a folder that you can find easily. I suggest creating a special folder for wordpress themes when you start downloading. You can use that same folder to extract the zipped files… most of the theme zip files are designed to create their own folder as they are unzipped.

Once you have unzipped the files, you launch your ftp client. After you’re connected, click on the “wp-content” folder in your blog, then click on “themes.” Now in the left side of your little ftp software window, select the folder(s) with the themes and transfer the files. You just need to click on the folder with the name of the theme and all of the files, including the folder, will transfer to your host. 

Now log in to your blog admin, select themes, and you should see thumbnails of all the beautiful themes you just uploaded! Select the one you want to use and that’s it! 

Warning: Any personalizations you have made to the old theme might be gone. For instance, you might need to edit the footer.php file to include your copyright info. Or you may need to edit the sidebar.php file to add any advertising code you were using. Some themes are widget ready, and some of this can be done using plugins.
