Remote Viewing

The Balance Between Conscious & Unconcious

There have been times, during intense prayer, when I have found myself in another location in my mind’s eye, where I was able to see a tiny bit of what was happening.

That certainly is not the same thing as remote viewing, but there are similarities. I have always been fascinated by the topic, especially years ago when I learned of the government experimentation with remote viewing.

A remote viewer is a person who can “know” about things, circumstances or people, without being near them. Intuition, mental telepathy and out of body experiences are claimed to be used for remote viewing.

Around 40 years ago, Ingo Swann, was able to correctly tell the weather of specific cities as they were given to him by the researchers at  the American Society for Psychical Research in New York.

Remote viewing is not used to give “psychic readings,” “tell fortunes,” “read auras,” or other sorts of popular activities of this nature, but is rather a means of doing serious science research and for performing operational-type tasks in criminal investigations, government intelligence work, commercial applications, etc. Many who want to explore their individual human potentials also become interested in it.

While the technique was intended for practical applications, it has stirred much excitement among those interested in the paranormal and psychic world.

There are several ways to experiment with remote viewing.

The International Remote Viewing Association recommends a simple experiment.

Simply have someone place a picture of something with vibrant colors and defined shapes that would be of interest, into an envelope.

Lay the envelope on a table and sit down with paper and pen.

Next, you will need to relax and focus on the envelope.

Write down whatever thoughts or images enter your mind. Usually, the strongest images are just mental clutter. You need to zero in on the fuzzier images.

Good Luck!

Obama and Oprah

Saint Matthew, from the 9th-century Ebbo Gospels.

As I was browsing through blogs via Entrecard, I couldn’t help but notice a trend that I have also noticed over at Facebook… a trend which is fed by misguided Christians who believe it is their duty, obligation and/or God-given right to condemn those they do not agree with.

Many are accused of worshipping Obama, yet these accused people have never claimed to worship him. Indeed, all of these well-meaning accusers are basing their opinion on the media coverage - that is all.

Obama has not ever compared himself to Christ. So why are so many Christians speaking against him instead of fulfilling their Christian duty by praying for our nation’s leader?

Oprah has helped more people on this planet than many entire denominations of the protestants, yet the Christians have labelled her as a new-age danger and threat to Christianity.

This is absurd.

God has not called us to condemnation of others. He alone is their judge.

It would be nice if the thousands of people who claim Christianity would get busy about the business of God as instructed to us in the book of Matthew. I dare say that if they were all out and about feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and imprisoned, and taking care of the homeless and the orphans, then they just might not have as much time to devote to judgement and condemnation.

President Obama is a Christian by his own statement. We should be thrilled to have a Christian in the Presidential office. It is not our duty to judge him. However, I have found no offense in him as a Christian, or as a public servant.

Oprah also claims to be Christian. If we are to judge a tree by its fruit, then she certainly continues to fulfill the teachings of Jesus on a much longer yardstick than those who condemn her.

God bless them both and may God have mercy on those who continue to spread evil and chaos via their obscene tongue. May God intervene on our behalf and stop their nonsense.

God bless the poor, the hungry, those who take care of them, and may God bless America.

Joe the Plumber - right place, right time

HOLLAND, OH- OCTOBER 12: Democratic president...

Joe the Plumber is a perfect example of being in the right place at the right time.  Have you heard the latest Joe the plumber news?

Joe the plumber is going to Israel as a correspondent for Pajama Media.

Who controls our destiny?

We do, with a little help from above.

Joe had to take action for this fame to shower him.  Had he stayed at home that day, we would know absolutely nothing about him, and he would still be struggling to pay his bills.

BUT…

Joe the plumber was in the right place at the right time.

He simply attended an event of a presidential candidate and then made a comment. Now, he’s going to Israel as a correspondent.

Why Joe?

Well, maybe it’s because Joe wanted to be a participant and not just a spectator.

Maybe it’s because he was worried enough or angry enough to ask a tough question and make his voice heard.

Whatever made Joe make that tiny little trip and attend the event, it is clear that this  one single decision set into motion a flurry of events that would change his life forever and make him famous in a short amount of time.

Naturally, fame brings opportunities - if you’re famous for the right things. Everyone wants to be associated with a person that achieves fame for all the right reasons - such as speaking up for the little guy.

The reason Joe’s rise to fame is so unique and such a good example of what taking action can mean, is because if this were a novel (and then a movie), it would be too surreal to believe. Yet, it’s true.

Let’s be more like Joe this year.

Let’s participate in all of life, and see what’s in store for us.

Shine Joe, Shine!
